Contextual Recommendations
Our recommendations to the user is always considering the context the user is in. The context is built considering the theme of your content, the article the user is in, the search query which brings the user to your site. The user could explicitly express his interest either by a search or by a click on the topics we recommend. Our recommendations are powered by a real time semantic engine which generates highly relevant suggestions for the user.
Co-discovery
By keeping track of what interests brings users to your site and the trails that they tread within your site, appropriate trails are recommended to a user so that they can benefit by others interests. People are curious to know others trails and we have noticed this enhances the user engagement on your site.
Guided Navigation
Information in your site is organized into nuggets, topics and concepts. A mapping is provided between nuggets, topics and concepts. For a user’s context, we map the other nuggets(hence articles), topics and concepts related to the context. The user can pivot on any of these three and we further suggest based on this choice. User can navigate from an article to its topics, from a topic to its related topics(or concepts), from a topic to its related articles.
Automatic Content Enrichment
On each of your articles, we choose topics that have other relevant pages talking about them and put in links to those pages. On hovering over these links, the readers gets to see a preview of the target page in the form of nuggets. If they like what they read, then can then navigate to the target article by clicking on the nugget. Automatic topic enrichment has the potential to bring new readers to previously written articles.
Content Strategy
The trails your readers tread and their topic/concept clicks tell us a lot about what your audience are interested in reading – which is useful feedback for you – both to target content and advertising. This is normally unstated intent, something you would not get through explicit searches on your site. It will help you seed your site with more content on these topics.
